Hi – we are Janine and Mike and we are the owners of Not
Just Pets, two lovely family-run petshops, one in the heart
of Frome and one in the village of Larkhall in Bath.

Our Story
We love animals and have been running our petshops for over 20 years. Before that, Mike used to be a teacher (and head teacher) in the area and Janine ran the local doctors’ medical practice – and taught aerobics to the town of Frome and around, so many folks know us – and sometimes Mike finds himself serving ex pupils – and their children.
We welcome all dogs in the shops (provided their owners behave) with a delicious treat and we offer a lovely, smiley, local delivery service in the shape of marvellous Mike (and sometimes Ursa, our own German Shepherd girlie, goes too!)


When we say local, we deliver to a huge radius from Warminster and Frome to Trowbridge, Devizes and Bath and sometimes even further afield. We offer a large range of quality pet foods and accessories and we are always happy to listen to our customers’ needs and offer free advice on nutrition, harnesses, treatments etc. Our customers are very special to us and as for their pets, as our strapline says, “they’re not just pets, they’re family”.
